SLAY THE SPIRE NEW CHARACTER UPDATE
Originally launching with the Ironclad, Silent, and Defect, the Watcher update seems to add a few good ways to change up your average run to the top of the spire. Slay the Spire impressed us when it exited its early access phase and found its way to the Nintendo Switch. Patch 2.0 actually introduces a ton of new Relics for each character, including 13 Relics for the Watcher, two Relics for Ironclad, one new Relic for Silent, and two new Relics for the Defect. The patch notes detail that existing mods compatible with version 1.1 of Slay the Spire will need to be updated in order to work with the new version 2.0. There's now a screen where you can view all the potions available, you can look up the rarities of new and existing potions, and these can all be found in the Compendium section of the main menu.

Back in the beta testing phase for the Watcher, her unique mechanic were stances: The Watcher can enter, remain in, or exit her stances using different cards, producing advantages from each stance. The Watcher is available now in a free download on all platforms. His possible in game icon was revealed in a tweet showcasing the new character select screen. She starts with: The Mystery The third character is currently unavailable in early access.
